Who Am I?

My name is Essence and I'm the artist behind Earthbound Art. I'm also a 5th grade teacher, bride-to-be, and travelholic, I love what I do!

Where am I based?

Rochester, NY!

What do I create?

I focus on black art, mainly showcasing the beauty of black women. My primary medium is acrylic paint on canvasses.

Why?

When I get inspired I need to bring my vision to life, so that I can share a piece of me. My goal is to show more black representation in art. We have been historically overlooked and underrepresented in the art world. I aim to put more art in homes, galleries, offices, in public...everywhere!
